Alan Strunga, a PhD student in the Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Laboratory, was awarded by Lipka, one of the oldest and largest educational organizations for environmental training in Czechia. He placed 3rd in the competition for the best master’s thesis.
Strunga studied how much the Brno population comes into contact with pesticide residues. The methods developed in his work are now routinely used with outstanding results. Strunga’s work provides important insights, especially for the management of the city of Brno.
